@kdkorte not on this platform but i guess you could post or dm the enc msg - they make you work for it and even when services like fb say they provide e2e they are often doing mitm tls proxy so diy is probably the best way even with services that purport to be e2ee

@gary_alderson I wouldn't consider mastodon a messaging service, so no need to e2e encrypt.

Interesting table. I don't think I have come across Status so far. I'll definitely have a look.

@kdkorte mastodon has been trying to get e2e going for years - the tech debt is there to solve it but no political will, pressure and regs? who knows - i expect they will add it to platform before too long #tor exit nodes
