Just sat my first fully online Exam Tools based ham radio exam session as a Volunteer Examiner for GLAARG VEC. I've VEd for ARRL many times, but this was a whole different animal. Fun stuff!

Today's test session was sponsored by the Make Operating Radio Easier (MORE) project. The applicant's test fees and FCC fees were paid for by MORE.

@kb9ens nice! I tried to sign up to be a VE there several years ago but never heard anything back. I was an ARRL VE at one point but never administered any exams…

@W9SSN @kb9ens there were some steps, but I was able to get into glarg so I could help out with papasys exams in the OC.

@W9SSN yeah I got added to VE with them via the MORE folks but MORE is usually doing their sessions during the week and on ET so I have never made one. Today was an exception… a Sunday session. I think the key is getting one of the session owners to sponsor you. N7KSW ran this one. There’s a few regular ARRL sessions here that I get in on a several times a year.
