...and now the 4th and last leg of the trip! My in-depth review of #Italo #EVO from #Milano to #Venezia.

I like the colour, and I like the gold. Overall still fresh.

The dark windows look cool from the outside, but from the inside you miss natural light.

It's basically an #ETR610 but feels more spacious and airy. The light is a bit cold...

PrimaBusiness was 29€ for a flexible one way ticket. I got to choose my seat and paid an extra 12€ for the lounge, but decided on that only today because I arrived in Milan an hour earlier than expected.

PrimaBusiness includes complementary refreshments and snacks... I really want one of those trolleys when they retire 😍😜

Fairly lean passenger information system.

A glimpse into #Smart with 2-2 seating.

Various spaces. I notice the train is very clean. Luggage space doesn't seem to be a problem on a Friday evening connection.

Let's talk about #catering! We know bar and restaurant cars aren't the most efficient in terms of yield per passenger, so not really a surprise to see a private operator going for space and staff saving vending machines. I'm not really impressed by the selection, but I like the retro vibe of the coffees on display. You can pay by card, but not contactless. With the train built in 2018 looks like they narrowly missed out on that.

Load factor seems to be a decent 90-95%. Big passenger exchange in #Verona.
