tofuAfter being sorely disappointed by a highly rated wine bistro that turned out to be painfully mediocre, decided to open this one as therapy: 2015 Ca'Marcanda Magari by Gaja.
It's fantastic - no surprise there. Wonderful nose of black fruits and cedar, palate gives black fruit, plum, a hint of coffee and tannins that are quite strong, but smooth and wonderfully integrated. Perfect medicine for bitter disappointment!
