Trying #CarbonTransfer again. Last time I had #citrate in the #emulsion and #exposure was 20 minutes. The #photo sort of melted in the wash. So I think I didn't have enough #exposure. This time I'm going to go for 30 minutes. The worst that can happen is I get my first carbon print and it's too dark. I now know that the photo details are supposed to be relatively resilient, they shouldn't just melt away. And maybe the #projector idea is not a workable one? Maybe not, but I could give up.
So the result from this try was mixed. I seem to have failed at coating the #citrate sensitizer. I also may have burnt off the bright areas maybe because there were places where the image was really nice up to some sort of really sharp edge, then just sort of stopped working past that edge. Finally, I sacrificed the resulting image to the toning gods and dunked it into a tea I made using pinecones. Nothing happened! Except for a ton of bubbles under the sizing. So lots of learning.
