Azarilhâ“¥I was playing with overclocking and undervolting with my new graphics card for hours, while leaving a game on, using around 80% of the GPU. I managed to keep the same performance ( even with overclocking ) while reducing the consumption by about 40w! That's great!! Then i tried to open FurMark at the same time, to reach 100% GPU utilisation and... compared to automatic volts/clocks, my setting consumes MORE, by like 30w. I also tried to instead have the game limited at 60 FPS ( with no FurMark ) cos that's how i actually play the game, and i also got MORE consumption than automatic setting! What a waste of time! :D
It just shows how "automatic" could be a bit better.
The card is a Sapphire Pure 7900 GRE.
