Nicely done, London Waterstones.
@alanferrier Well, maybe. As a reader of SF/F I'd be less than keen on the loss of shelf space for stuff I might actually want to read. Except that I don't go to shops since the plague started, so in practice I don't mind.
@alanferrier What amazes me, is that a publisher thought there would be an audience for this sort of drivel.
A complete waste of wood pulp.
@alanferrier I'm never entirely convinced that these things are not done by mischievous customers but they're always a laugh. And I'm happy to give credit to the store for them.
@alanferrier “The West (read: the white part) is the bestest, most powerful, incredible society (made up of many disparate societies of course but whatevs) that has ever existed. Anyways, here’s why it’s teetering on the brink and must be rescued from [vague handwaving that somehow includes racial slurs] every six months.”
@alanferrier
Next? "The Turnip Diaries" with a special foreword from Therese Coffey.

@alanferrier

there once might have been an SF Bay Area Atheist and Other Freethinkers meet up that just **might** have gone to a bookstore and reshelved certain books in a more accurate fashion...

not saying...
