the fast and the furious. the strange and the curious. the false and the spurious #FilmDay
this film has an orange color gradation so that you know it takes place in someplace cool
admittedly, heists are fucking cool as hell
it's pretty fucking ballsy to attempt to hijack a moving semi when you could simply, say, persuade the driver to stop with a clever distraction, like a banana peel in the road
as we're being introduced to a few shots of who I presume to be the main character, the camera is so shaky that I almost threw up in my mouth from motion sickness
this guy only eats tuna sandwiches without a crust and nothing else. I, too, know what it's like to be autistic about my food
every late 90s early 2000s movie has some kind of nerdy white boy with neat sunglasses
yikes, casual f-slur dropped
nitrous oxide seems to be a big deal in these parts
idk if I have anything interesting to say about this movie but I'm watching it and I'm making you watch it with me
so basically the Toretto family races fast cares in an underground racing circuit and Spilner here, our protagonist, is going to try to beat Dom, the patriarch of the family, for the money but also the respect
all these fast cars and not a single transgender woman
I wonder if I'm actually still enjoying doing this kind of thing. I feel like I don't have a lot of very interesting things to say and like, I don't know that anyone other than me really enjoys hearing my surface level thoughts on movies anyway. I might just call it here or update this more intermittently idk
