@inverseatascii Any device that "replaces Atari 850 Interface Module" is overpriced and locked-in to just the Atari. Just buy the 850, hook up your el cheapo modem & printer. Only thing it was lacking was a printer data buffer, and many printers had 1K or so buffer.
