#Hosting provider IONOS (#AS8560) is performing VM "maintenance" over the next month, which will impose some changes. One suspiciously odd new limitation:

"Existing IPv6 addresses will be replaced by new ones and Reverse DNS will no longer be available for IPv6."

@tychotithonus No idea. My guess is they are trying to work with some new tooling and minimizing customization. They also state they don't support IPv6 for older OSes, which is a bit weird too.

Maybe I'm misreading, but this could be a disservice to anyone running a server-based system, especially a SMTP system for example.
