This rusty blackbird (Euphagus carolinus) was part of a flock that stopped by briefly in January 2024.

Your photograph of the rusty blackbird is stunning!

I love you online/Web gallery, which I bookmarked. 👍 I am happy it includes four great photos of the house sparrow (Passer domesticus).

House sparrows provided a large bird population when I began serious birdwatching as a boy, and these ragamuffins won my heart.

In the 1990s, I rehabilitated [1] and released a male with oil toxicity, which took a year.
