They posted at 2:23:03 PM CDT with an eclipse parallax of 75.7478 degrees and an occlusion incident of 95% which means they are in this neighborhood of Deputy Falls, Oklahoma and based on the red roof shingles which were only code-compliant in 95-02 it’s this house built in 1998.
@SwiftOnSecurity What is the context here? :D
@BillyJBryant @SwiftOnSecurity the picture is of Rainbolt, a GeoGuessr player who has many short clips of identifying a place on earth from a photo of a featureless field or something. They’ll say “slightly more green, going uphill, that’s Manitoba” then guess within a couple km of the place on earth where it was taken.
Combined with tons of people sharing eclipse photos today, this makes a good joke of people inadvertently sharing their location.
@ericr @BillyJBryant @SwiftOnSecurity I mean, the totality already narrows it down
If you then have time of capture from metadata, you're very close to where they were when the photo was taken.
@ericr @BillyJBryant @SwiftOnSecurity figured that out on your own, did you?

@SwiftOnSecurity

It is amazing that many people do not realize how much information that a pic can reveal.

@SwiftOnSecurity except it's a repost from reddit and the original is geotagged to be 35 miles to the north from these coordinates

@SwiftOnSecurity

but but but we can't even see the garbage disposal!!!
