True. The easiest way would have been for NATO to march into Russia with all of its might and remove Putler from power, like the Western allies did with Nazi-Germany.
Now fascist Ruzzia will churn its war industry and pump out even more fossil fuel to achieve its goals. And seeing how Ruzzian propaganda is already stepping up the hatred towards the West, we can soon expect Ruzzian hordes trying to walk into the next country since belligerent thoughts sow belligerent actions.

So yeah, indecisive, slow-witted dilly-dallying doesn't affect just climate policies, but also geopolitical decisions.
