Ground Zero between West Tek and Huntersville was a decent choice, paired with the Bloatfly Syringer strategy. Still a tediously extensive process to farm high-radiation fluids this way, but at least I finally got enough.

Unfortunately by the time I tracked down any glowing mutations in the blast zone—by bee-lining for the deathclaw on the ridge overlooking West Tek Research Center, which I knew would survive the blast—all my violet and fluorescent flux went inert and there weren’t any sources for them in the blast zone. So now I have to speedrun a silo yet again and pick a more suitable high-population site with all the right flora and… JFC

Watching the mushroom cloud rise on the horizon from Foundation though? Most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
