Perfect take on the current state of AI.

@stevenrosenthal of course the tragic thing is that machine learning can be a very effective diagnostic aid if trained correctly.

LLMs not so much

@purserj @stevenrosenthal I am absolutely for using it as a TOOL in diagnostics. But not entirely by itself. Also we are really not there, yet.
@stevenrosenthal “How’s my prognosis, Doctor?” “Ruff.”
@colin @stevenrosenthal Still listens better and gives more responsive answers that 95% of doctors in the US. Twice as likely to be accurate, and 80x less likely to tell you to try something you just said you already tried.
@stevenrosenthal Also CEO: and we will not be held liable for any misdiagnoses.
@stevenrosenthal also it drinks a thousand liters of fresh water a minute

@stevenrosenthal

by "Talk" we mean we feed the dog toffees and Derek from accounts does one of his funny voices"

@stevenrosenthal I agree if we talk about LLMs. Machine learning does have its use.

- Look at the tricks it does, so clever! - It's not, it simply evolved to fool us just enough to be convincing. - Of course it gets stuff wrong sometimes! But it'll get there! - It won't. #chatGPT or dogs? Same thing.
