📰 The Kansas Reflector is one of my local newspapers, and I have friends I met via Twitter years ago who work there. When we talk about #enshiffitication and harm down to communities, it could not be even more real than this.

The Kansas Reflector also made national news for their coverage of the Mario County Record newspaper raid, which their local sheriff's department unlawfully raided. So not your average paper to target or accidentally block.

In an unprecedented raid Friday, local law enforcement seized computers, cellphones and reporting materials from the Marion County Record office, the newspaper's reporters, and the publisher's home.

@webology this is insane but I wish it was surprising.
@erinrachel I can't recommend being on the other website but https://twitter.com/sherman_news does an A++ job of reporting.

@webology Yup, this happened to me. This week my post with a link to the KR story about the Marion County Raid was taken down. I don’t think I had posted any comment with the link, but I can’t see the original post right now. The version they are showing me is just the url. They flagged it for Cybersecurity Policy Violation which makes no sense if you read their guidelines. I appealed it, choosing options that indicate it does not violate that policy. Waiting to hear back.
