I'm a seamstress of habits, I sew the same garments, my joy is working with good fabrics. Except that I have to modify my usual patterns to my current measurements and I haven't found the energy over the last few months.

To get back on track, a birthday present for a friend: a self-drafted project bag, with Liberty quilting fabrics.

@MarieVC

Sending best wishes your way for some fitting mojo!

TNTs (tried&true or tested&true) patterns are the best! Not just time but "nerve savers". πŸ˜„ Happy sewing! 🧡 βœ‚οΈ

@lil_meow_meow Starting with a small project has given me the appetite to sew for longer, and I really need to sew 2-3 garments, so it's going in the right direction πŸ˜† Have a good new week!

@MarieVC

I find that doing baby steps can help too. It's amazing how doing little bits here and there add up if done frequently. (That is if you have your machine set up and a bit of space where you can leave your stuff.)

Fitting garments can be a PITA so I'm sending best wishes for a successful fitting session. Have a good week, too!

@MarieVC
What a lovely and thoughtful way to use up valued scraps!
@EllenInEdmonton The white/cream fabric is leftover fabric, the Liberty fabrics are quarters I bought to experiment with quilting. It's amazing what we can do with just a small amount of fabric. Have a good new week!
@MarieVC that’s lovely! I am experimenting around with small things to get my own mojo back but we will see
@platypus I hope you get your mojo back! It's amazing how we forget how good it feels, but getting started takes a lot of energy.
