The oldest Scandinavian bedrock was "born" in Greenland according to a new geological study from the University of Copenhagen. The study helps us understand the origin of continents and why Earth is possibly the only planet in our solar system with life.

i need to learn more about continents. i still haven't learned whether we know or not whether continents stiumulate their own growth, ie.e are autocatalytic and therefore we should call them a form of life.

but this is a curious suggestion that continents can seed each other.

also.. MAYBE continents spawn life (maybe not, i.e. sea vents might) but maybe life spawns continents:
