So it’s 4 weeks today since the house got stripped. I e mailed the letting agent to ask when the 2nd damp survey would be done.

Her reply…
‘The walls will need to stay like that for a few months im afraid – I did explain this over the phone when we spoke. Basically the property needs to breath through the warmer months so w can obtain a better reading your damp course – It will be summer by the time we have a better idea of the best course of action.’

I am pretty sure she said one month, but I’m just a person with auditory processing issues. She said she recorded the conversation, so I might ask if she can send it to me. It could be my misunderstanding 🤷

Of course this coincides with tenancy renewal, so I’m pretty sure they want to get us out in July, so they can sort the house out and sell, or get more rent money for it.

I found this e mail where she says;

‘So we are going to take all the wallpaper off and let the property breath for a month – we are then getting Mark from Heritage back round come spring to re do the damp assessment and see what the damp readings come back as – Hopefully we can get a better idea of the best course of action then.’

Not summer like she said today. I know it says spring, but saying well let it breath for one month is confusing.

So the only person who can access recorded calls is away for 3 weeks 🤨🤔
Latest e mail says she has a note in the diary to contact damp specialist, why did she not say this initially? Did she just add it today?
