I missed Big Beat Boutique's Concord heyday because of an intense relationship which involved a lot of smoke, and staying in bed. Annoying, but also not.
@Holette The one thing that did annoy me about it was lots of Indie-er than tho Brighton types who were previously very sniffy about rave/house/techno/etc leaping on it. *grumble*
I can imagine it was *a lot* of fun tho. I went to a very hip Progressive House club in London once in the mid 90s, it was the most boring pose-y designer clothes and cocaine hipster night ever.
Did you ever go to Rob Lluis' Concord nights which were the sort of Big Beat pre-cursor
Just been trying to find if they're online anywhere and found this

*cough* I'm not sure what possessed me to wear red trousers that day
@ogili @SimonLandmine @Holette what is this, the Goth conga? Superb!!

@SimonLandmine @ogili @Holette these are brilliant. I never took a camera at that time to a club or gig. Took a few disposable cameras to festivals but not really to more everyday things. Amazing
