This is a story about "filtration" of those who come to #Crimea from the "new #Russian lands" - in this case, from #Russian-occupied #Donetsk with a #Russian passport.

I have a question - so who lives in #Donetsk? If they're #Russians, why is "filtration" needed?

At the entrance to #Crimea through the "land corridor," the #Russians carry out strict filtering even of those who have #Russian passports.

According to a resident of #Donetsk, who recently travelled to the peninsula through #Chonhar, first his car was completely searched, "even the spare tire was taken out." Then there was passport control, and then he and other passers-by were "taken into a cage for filtration."

"There were about 40 people there. We were locked there like a pack of dogs. We spent seven hours there," he said.

The questioning about attitudes towards the political situation and checking phones lasted about ten minutes, but in the end, the whole procedure, according to the man, took seven hours.

According to the author of the video, such filtering is mostly conducted for those who enter #Crimea for the first time, but sometimes those who have already entered the peninsula after the outbreak of the full-scale war are also sent to it.
