Ok so I love Cowboy Carter. It’s not quite the album I was expecting though.
The Jolene remake is stunning, and the opera bridge on Daughter??? 🤯
Ya Ya, Daughter, Bodyguard, II Most Wanted, Levii’s Jeans, Spaghettii, and Sweet Honey Buckin’ are all stand outs. #CowboyCarter

The last quarter of the album feels like it is meant to transition into Renaissance. Sweet Honey Buckiin’ is Pure/Honey’s long lost sister. Amen feels like you’re being yrs sported into the Renaissance world.
