I'm excited to announce that I will be speaking at Joy Mennonite Church in #OKC for Easter Sunday at 10:30 am.

I should mention that I was invited despite my now being Jewish (which is pretty awesome and speaks to the theological diversity of this community), but I should say that this does mean that I will be discussing the theme of resurrection in a metaphorical (non-factual)l way.

Along the way, I will also be telling a really beautiful story from Joy's history from 1993. It's a tearjerker but also a story that I think turned the congregation towards eventually adopting a policy of being an #OpenAndAffirming church. --- And I will be taking a moment to celebrate the 20th anniversary of first joining this church, on Easter Sunday 2004.

I'll probably share a recording of this one online for anyone wants to hear it later, but if you are in OKC and want to visit, come on by.
