as i multitask through turmoil
i've been updating some #Illustrator brushes so that other folx may partake… i hoped to convert them to #affinity and #vectorstyler but may hold off
this particular set, i dub 'Smudge Blend Brushes' that i use to semi-replicate smudge shading for pencil or charcoal sketches
is there or would there be interest in buying brushes of this sort? sliding scale? donate-ware? what might you offer? 'as-is' or w/ caveats?
the 'Smudge Blend Brushes' are pressure sensitive & — i think — look good with the 'multiply' blend mode, hence the name... the samples here have a paper texture that i added for additional effect.
i'm continuing to wok on these to reduce file size and optimize versatility.

i wanted simple brushes that i could replicate the look and feel of a pencil/charcoal 'smudge'
the smudges can ~ follow along a curved path ~ in #illustrator and can be doubled up with other #sketch brushes on the same curve for effect
ah, the simplicity of one bezier curve for the stroke[s] just to keep the file size in check
when that doesn't work out, a mask does wonders… eh?
these blobs & brushes are from #AmIHere which i never have time to work on… 😩
my hashes, scratches, scribbles are also brushes i could convert/compile for use in #DigitalArt for #illustrator if there's enough support…
