Mosses have grown on this good Earth for over 400 million years.... Able to withstand drought & freezing, they can survive & thrive in extreme habitats from mountaintops to deserts. Beloved in traditional Japanese gardens I love my mossy friends wherever I go, wandering through forests, staring at the ground, or gazing up at the branches of gnarly trees, moss is there, doing their good work.
