M’yello. I am giving Mastodon another shot. So here’s another #introduction :

I am a #TwitterRefugee from The Great Migration.
I love humor, jokes and funny toots.
I love to read. Mostly horror and thriller.
I love art doodling and music.

Also, not that it defines my life, but I am just now embracing my #ADHD and how it affects my daily existence.

@butchraptor nobody ca.. oh, wait, we are on fediverse now..

Well, welcome, again! :D

ONE OF US, ONE OF US!

@butchraptor
Welcome! Nice that you are here and give the whole thing another chance. If you find your people here, it's one of the nicest places on the web you can imagine. Take your time. Look around. Talk to people. It's worth it. 😀
@YayForThat @butchraptor I've been here a year and I can confirm, its so awesome.

Welcome! Feel free to share some art.

I'm here to talk about RPGs and other games and geeky topics, but mostly end up bonding over politics.

@butchraptor first rule of making it work, follow a couple of hundred people. You can unfollow later as you figure it out, but without doing that, it won't work for you.

Then follow your favorite hashtags.

@butchraptor Welcome to this platform! It's nice to connect with you!

@butchraptor

Welcome to Mastodon (again, I guess).

What happened the last time? Technical issues? Or people problems?
Anyway, hope you find a home here this time.

Feel free to share some of your doodles, if you feel comfortable.

If you didn't already know, follow @FediFollows for curated lists of whom you should follow.
Follow @lisamelton for an interesting and varied feed.
Do lots of searches for #hashtags.

Glad you're here!

@potungthul Thank you, as always, for the recommendation! 💖

@butchraptor @FediFollows

@potungthul @butchraptor @FediFollows @lisamelton it was a smaller instance run by a great admin. I just didn’t feel like I fit in and I said if I came back I would join a large instance that would allow for a more diverse crowd.

@butchraptor

Huh. My own experience has been that I can't really tell who's from my own instance or what posts originated where, but I think that's a tribute to the admin of my instance.

Definitely follow Lisa and FediFollows as I suggested, at least for a while, and you'll find people to follow from all different instances. After a while, you will have built enough of a network that you don't really notice who's from outside your instance.

Again, welcome!
