They love to collect the insurance premiums as long as they rarely have to pay out.

@w7voa Insurance companies only intend to take money, not pay out. It’s a racket. They should be required to cover everyone, spread the liability more evenly. This ‘We only want to insure homes that never burn, flood, have any damage…’ attitude is corrupt. Insurance is supposed to be a pool of risk, not a selective fishing pond. And no, they aren’t doing it to keep costs down. They have never done anything but raise rates. If they wanted to keep costs down, they could start with salaries.
