I've told this one before: I had the unnerving feeling toward the end of The Psychopath Club that one minor character was tugging at my sleeve and pointedly asking for more screen time.
I gave him more screen time. I killed him off alongside the antagonist, pour encourager les autres.
Characters: I created you. *I* get to decide what happens to *you*, and not the other way round.
