Classic DARVO. Fascists will always paint themselves as the victims and the targets of their violence as their oppressors.

And liberals buy it every time. Just look at how they reacted to the BLM demonstrations. All the media needed to do was hyperfixate and air disproportionate coverage about property damage and white moderates everywhere went into full hand-wringing mode.
