Das war nicht immer so, denn Momo musste das mit dem Meer erst lernen.
Zuerst wurden die Wellen angebellt, dann nach ihnen geschnappt und zu guter Letzt hat sie dabei beim ersten mal soviel Wasser geschluckt, dass es ihr danach richtigt schlecht ging.

Durchfall und Erbrechen waren die Folge. Zum Glück ging das dann aber bald wieder vorbei und wir mussten nicht den Tierarzt wegen einer Salzwasservergiftung aufsuchen.

A small disaster... with dog at the sea.

Tenerife has really great beaches, unfortunately only 3 of them are 'official' dog beaches.
Nevertheless, we are happy to spend one (or more) relaxed beach days with Momo.

This was not always the case, because Momo had to learn about the sea first.
First she barked at the waves, then she snapped at them and last but not least she swallowed so much water the first time that she felt really bad afterwards.

Diarrhea and vomiting were the result. Fortunately, this soon passed and we did not have to visit the vet because of salt water poisoning.
