I bought a thermal print camera like that one @paulrickards bought, and while the resulting prints are very hit or miss, I only now realized how easy it is to do double exposures.
@tokefrello Fantastic results! Did you load the paper back in the printer for the second shot? I wonder what a grocery store receipt would look like. 🤔
@paulrickards @tokefrello Basically, yes. It helps to roll 1 cm extra out before the first shot so that it’s easier to mark the paper and hit the exact spot for the second shot. In this case, it also helped that the paper gets blown out so easily, leaving a lot of white space for the other exposure. And yes, I guess you could use second hand thermal paper? @tokefrello @paulrickards Check your settings, I got one too, and while going through the settings, I found that printing can be grey or dot, and I think the latter puts out a better quality image.
@taur10 @paulrickards @tokefrello Thanks! I have gone through the settings multiple times, though, and I don’t think this camera has that one. I can adjust “Density” and resolution, but it seems like everything from around brightness 200-255 gets printed as white.
@tokefrello @paulrickards Interesting, Chinese stuff is usually pretty generic, on mine it's the third choice in settings, Print Modes
