Magnus Ahltorp@pthane @abovemybelow What’s unfortunately also needed is a road without unnecessarily heavy and dangerous vehicles to drive them on. Which I guess was at least more the case in your childhood than it is now.
I have a friend that bicycled to his girlfriend in the next town when he was young. On the normal road. That would be extremely dangerous today.
@ahltorp @abovemybelow I had to cycle to school from age 8, about 2.4 miles. Then from 11 5 miles to secondary school. Getting a moped at 16 was a natural progression. Shame kids today don't get that freedom.
