one thing i think about when reading this horrifying article (which, i recommend you read too) is how the FBI has spent many years funding the creation & distribution of their informant Joshua Caleb Sutter’s esoteric neo-nazi “Temple Ov Blood” o9a propaganda, apparently without ever wondering whether it might be effective enough to have unintended consequences (particularly once the fascist movements operating under the #MAGA umbrella began to emerge).

so much stupid shit gets said on the internet, and it's understandably easy to look at an allegation like that & suspect it might be sloppy exaggeration or hyperbole; but I assure that, unfortunately, it is not.

(but also, i guess the phenomemon of a state powers mistakenly thinking they can harness & control the weird / funny / frenetic / dangerous energies of fascist movements is kind of a well-worn trope.)

We were set up by one of the church’s oldest members, Joshua Caleb Sutter.”

“Let me say that this entire debacle was an FBI set up from the very beginning. There would be no alleged crimes, were it not for an FBI informant/agent provocateur, one Joshua Caleb Sutter, a now former member of the Church of the Sons of YHVH/Legion of Saints.”

Within days, Kriess removed a photo of Sutter posing in a black turban and face mask, and articles he wrote from the Aryan Nations Web site, and Sutter went underground.
