@ElleGray the name comes from the sound parts make as they spring off the planes.
@ElleGray In the old days they used to be quite good. In one plane mishap a Rolls-Royce engine caused the problem because they were making shotty parts, so they had to get it together again. A oil pipe sprang a leak.
