#WHO lab procedures downgrade to BSL2.

I am pretty sure that they are thinking that the virus is already running rampant outside the lab, so lesser precautions are warranted, which increase the labs that can do needed work.

It sends a horrific message.

The procedure should explicitly say that this remains an extremely dangerous BSL3 virus, but because it is everywhere in society they are downgrading the lab protections to allow more labs to come to bear on the problem.
