@novelx456 I had fish n chips with Okri at Dartington lit fest about 25 years ago - he struck me as totally pretentious and uninspiring. i kept wanting him to say something deeply philosophical or insightful about writing and so on and it never happened. It's so disheartening when you meet these famous authors and they are nothing like what your imagination thought they'd be like.
