Fair Go is the canary in the coalmine of investigative journalism. It's imminent demise is deeply troubling.

Whatever their opinion about the political neutrality of the contemporary news media - or whether broadcasting should be a public service, a business, or a mix - most kiwis value what a program like Fair Go does. It still gets huge audiences on broadcast TV.
