Timothy ShortellCold today, but not raining, so I got more prep work done in the gardens. I have more compost and organic fertilizer to put down. I might be able to get the root veggies in the raised beds in a few weeks. One of the raised beds for my flowers is slowly breaking from the weight of snow and ice. I'm not sure how to repair it without emptying the soil first. #Gardening #Zone5 #Compost #SpringChores
Also, I noticed that there are some pretty big branches down on the path to the stream. We didn't get a lot of snow this winter, but many high wind warnings. That chore will have to wait until the ground dries out. Still pretty slippery out there.
