The Roman villa whose ‘little column’ gave the square its name was exactly there. Maybe excavating it slowed down the construction, because it’s been years. Digging in Athens, even this far out from the original city, is not a simple matter.

I’m very new at photography and I don’t usually attempt anything on this scale but I think it came out okay.
