Had an excellent weekend in Canadia. Gary Numan puts on a hellofashow, I already wanted to see him again before he even finished his set.

Then one of my favourite humans described ME as one of their favourite people, and that has thrown me and I've been stuck in a ponder spiral about it.

It's deffo good, but for some reason I never would have expected them to say that and that's probably something personal I need to work on.

I am often V. entertained at these photo mistakes when I forget the thing is on lowlight and I have to hold still for a bit for it to take it.
The washroom in a downtown Vancouver mall had this super spiffy in-stall bin.

Speaking of washrooms, earlier in the trip I used one of the single person ones usually only labeled "family" in my experience that also had a trans symbol on it. I was very pleased. I often joke that "my gender is family" when I use one.
Even though they don't really show you the bands well, I really enjoy the vibe of these two photos. The white light one is FLA, the red one is Gary Neuman.

I wasn't really looking forward to Cars live, if he played it, but goddamn it was a fucking banger live. The studio version is so smooth and shiny, live was dirty and interesting.

Also, Gary moves like a person well more than half his age!

I should have added this one to the vibe I love ones above. This is from Ministry's set. I might frame this one. It's such a lovely little slice of time.

A panorama attempt from ministry's set. I love the vertical stripes from the lighting changing as I was panning.

Ministry again, I think this was on my way back from my last toilet trek.

Ministry playing Jesus Built my Hotrod. The last song they played before encores. Didn't stay for the encores so as to get out before the crowd and find some poutine before back to hotel.

Both Gary Numan and Al Jourgensen are the same age, 65. Where Gary bopped around the stage like a 25-year-old, Al moved around very much like you'd expect a man of his age to do so. Additionally, he announced the title of each song right before they performed it. which I found to be ridiculously charming. Such a small town local band thing to do,
Also Front Line Assembly was there, I believe they're one of the vibe photos above. They were very much just an opening band. They hit their marks, did their job, and exited the stage. Nothing to write home about. I can take 'em or leave 'em so I was neither impressed nor disappointed.
