#Zionism has always been part of #European #colonialism, not only of the #British, but also the #French. In fact, it was a movement initiated by #Napoleon. The #emancipation of #Jews in #Italy and #France was part of a bigger plot of colonizing the #MiddleEast, particularly, #Palestine, one of the entrances of the #Mediterranean Sea. It opened up the most critical sea route that allowed the #Europeans to #colonize #Asia. #jewish
