#grandaddy : 1 of the most original bands ever.

I did not know this, last month they released a new album!
Blu Wav is their 6th studio album, 1st in nearly 6 years since Last Place and their 1st since the death of bassist Kevin Garcia. The album's title is a portmanteau of the genres bluegrass and new wave.

4 years I lived with the festival #pukkelpop behind my house and I saw them live in 2003. It was amazing.

It reached number 88 in the UK Singles Chart.

Belgian #Indie #rock band #GirlsInHawaii regularly cover the song live, citing Grandaddy's 2003 set at #Pukkelpop as paramount to their development as a band.
