Getting around to the idea that my radio "go kit" should fit in my Ortlieb bicycle pannier, and that I should keep it packed ready to bike to the park. It holds 21L, clips onto my e-bike or mountain bike back rack, has a shoulder strap to carry it short distances, etc.
@w8emv That's an awesome idea! (I bicycled my SOTA rig up to a hill in a backpack a few weeks ago, that was fun... not a SOTA hill though, not many are bicycle accessible.)

@ai6yr There is one POTA park that might plausibly be within bicycle range from here, Chelsea State Game Land K-6643. At worst I could drive to the nearby town with my bike in the back, park at the trailhead, and bike in on the Border to Border Trail.

Of course there are tons of #AAPOTA ("Ann Arbor Parks On The Air") parks in town - 160+ ! - so I will get lots of practice before doing a #POTA trip.
