I'm casually exploring alternatives to QWERTY keyboards on my smartphone.

Some keyboard apps seem to want payment before I get to try. Others want permission to use personal data unrelated to typing.

The #MessagEase keyboard with only 9 buttons is intriguing, but I'd want to try before I pay.

The #Microsoft keyboard app wants to collect Location #data. How would that improve the app's typing performance?

FlickBoard (https://apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid/index/apk/se.nullable.flickboard or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.nullable.flickboard -- free and open-source) is a //great// alternative.
