Not true #pota, but as a ham who got licensed in January, today was the first nice day I was able to take my rig to a park. It was a good dry-run for when I do POTA for real (lesson learned, bring the right connector for your battery).

Still, even limited to 5w from the default IC-705 battery, and despite some heavy pileups, it felt great to stand on a hill and make some contacts.
