Nowadays it is common to carry a powerbank. I take a 20000mAh version from Anker. I just wish it could be lighter as it weights a whole 350g. But it carries a mobile phone, a headlamp and a smartwatch for 5 days of charge, which is really useful. It can also charge some camera equipment.

I also need three kinds of cables:

- USB-A to USB-C: Charges most things nowadays.
- USB-A to Garmin: Fenix models have good battery life, but when recording a route the whole day, they will need a charge
- USB-A to Micro USB: Somethings like the Petzl headlamp needs this.

It all goes in a Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil drybag.

@ysb33r I have been debating what size power bank I need. I currently have a 10,000 mAh battery but I'm thinking I need a 20,000 mAh one. I just upgraded to a Pixel 7a phone with a 4,385 mAh battery and my back up battery can only charge it 1 1/2 times.

Also, have you considered a multi port cable? I have this one and it works very well. It has usb-A, Usb-C, Ave micro-Usb plugs built in.

@freeder23 That's a nice cable you have, but I then might need two in case I want to charge two things at the same time.
@ysb33r ah, yes. I'm going to bring a second usb-C cable so I can charge 2 things at once. I can see wanting to charge my battery and phone at the same time when I'm in town.
