Neo-Nazi white supremacist delivers antisemitic diatribe at Walnut Creek City Council meeting

A man wearing a "white power" T-shirt and swastikas went on a hate-filled, antisemitic diatribe during a public comment period at a Walnut Creek City Council meeting Tuesday evening.

There needs to be an exception to the 1st amendment, for speech which targets any individual or group with hate, bigotry, sarcasm, or derision on the basis of innate and unchangeable characteristics.

There exists the 'fighting words' doctrine, but it's circumscribed to mean only language likely to immediately cause a breach of the peace. One could say that Trump's speech on Jan 6 fell under those terms, but it's so narrowly defined as to be a hard sell to even a balanced court.

It is highly likely that Raichik's words, the PBs', and similar speech could be said to incite immediate violence, as it didn't take long for the bomb threats to start rolling in to the children's hospitals and schools (and said threats are absolutely violence) -- though the question of immediacy is another one...
