A young girl escapes the orphanage in the hope of becoming a sea-faring monster hunter.

Efficient direction, fun monsters, cool pirates, all rendered in gorgeous CGI.
All of which feels a bit wasted on a highly derivative story and characters with unsatisfying arcs.
