Before 2010 - All UK governments combined borrowed only ยฃ1tn.

2010-2024 (14 years) - Tories borrowed (added) another ยฃ1.6tn.

So, in the first 2000 years, the money bought everything we have today.

In the last 14 Tory years, the money has just vanished...

@UKnoGum Kier Starmer + genocide means I canโ€™t vote Labour either. Going to find some interesting independent to vote for. Not into killing everything that moves in the Middle East.

@mxtthxw @UKnoGum Completely understand. But don't let the Tory win.

https://stopthetories.vote/ Tactical Voting FTW!
But don't vote for the Red Tory unless they really are the most likely to beat the Blue Tory.

@jbond If you only have red or blue as options, and one is just a token effort, you can spoil your ballot paper.@mxtthxw @UKnoGum

@BackFromTheDud @jbond @mxtthxw
That's still a risk...

A vote for needs a vote against to neutralise it.

A spoilt vote is not a vote against, & if the count is close, it may be just enough for the Tory to sneak in.

@UKnoGum @jbond @mxtthxw that's why I said if you only have 2 options, and one is only a token gesture. If you live somewhere a non tory has a chance, vote for them!!

@BackFromTheDud @UKnoGum @mxtthxw It's a personal opinion and it's very negative, but I'm not the only person to think this way. THE MOST IMPORTANT thing to do in this coming general election is to absolutely destroy the Tory Party. We need to make sure they never come back for a generation.

The next most important thing is to prevent Labour from getting a large majority. Because they'll just perpetuate the 2 party system. But its going to be hard to engineer a small/no majority.

@jbond @BackFromTheDud @UKnoGum @mxtthxw Not so much this time round, but at the last election I was gunning for a hung parliament. Was hopeful that both parties (particularly Labour) could change their leaders and then we could have a new election.
@seanddotmedotuk Are you sure you're not confusing "Hung Parliament" with "Hanged Parliament"? #PoorTasteJoke @jbond @UKnoGum @mxtthxw
