@yeswap I don’t know if this is still the case in Windows 11, but in Windows 10, you could disable startup apps from the task manager. Third tab, iirc. I would just sort by “Startup Impact” and disable nearly all, with few exceptions.
Of course, the way Microsoft is moving these days (which is to say, snake-like), I wouldn’t be surprised if they chose to omit their own applications. I assume you have to do this again after Windows updates? OneDrive did so in Win 10 for years.
@yeswap No problem. It would be great if you could just disable/remove Edge entirely, and if it would stay disabled/removed. I would love to see another US v. Microsoft Corp happen, with extra spice for repeat offenders.
